Tips, Buyers Guide, Instructional, Dry Herb Vaporizer Reviews, Question & Answer, Vaporizer Reviews

The rise of vaporizer use has flooded the market with an almost innumerable number of vaporizer products. Yet with so many products on the market, it is often difficult for prospective vaporizer consumers to determine the good apples from the bad.

Among the good apples, the Titan 1 and the Titan 2 are both solid choices when it comes to truly vaping dry herbs.  Vaporizer enthusiasts frequently rank these two products as among some of the most solid choices when it comes to choosing a true vaporizer, with both garnering rave reviews for their utility, reliability, and vaporization experience.  And even more importanly, these vapes provide some of the best value since they both are priced under $60!  So which one should you go with?

The Similarities

On the one hand, the Titan 1 and Titan 2 share a number of qualities that make their stellar reputation understandable.

For starters, the Titan 1 and the Titan 2 are True Vaporizers, meaning they truly vape dry herbs.  Both Titans utilize a process similar to convection ovens which results in the ‘true vaporization’ process of the herbs.  The herb is packed into the heating chamber and they do not make direct contact with the a flame or hot coil; instead, the air is heated and is passed through the flowers, absorbing their aromas and ensuring that the user is inhaling only the purest form of vapor.

Some vape models rely on conduction to heat the herbs.  Conduction aka Combustion is similar to smoking a pipe but instead of a flame, within these vapes heating elements make direct contact with the flowers, essentially burning them to produce the smoke that is inhaled by the user.

Because both the Titan 1 and the Titan 2 rely upon pure vaporization, they are also guaranteed to provide what is considered to be the healthiest method of smoking which is really vaping, true vapor: Studies have found that true vaporization versus the more conventional form of delivery that is combustion -- is healthier on the lungs, as well as other parts of the body.

The Titan 1 and Titan 2 are also alike in their specifications. They are both light in weight, both offer the option of temperature adjustment for those who prefer to customize the speed and heat of their vaporization, and both function best when their heating chambers -- also known as the convection ovens -- are packed properly with well ground herbs and flowers.

Finally, the vaporizers also share a number of product specifications. Both come equipped through NYVapeShop with a kit of several accessories, including mouthpiece covers, a USB charging cable, a cleaning brush, and replacement metal screens meant to guard against the accidental inhalation of dry herb flowers. They also feature an identical battery power, both operating at a capacity of 2200mAh.

To sum up, both Titans offer versatility, portability, and a true vaporization experience that vaporizer enthusiasts are unlikely to find anywhere else!

The Differences

So with all of the similarities between the Titan 1 and Titan 2, do they have any meaningful differences? As it turns out, there is more to the two products than simply what they have in common.

On the one hand, the Titan 1 is the slightly smaller and lighter option. It also comes equipped with only three temperature settings, determined through a light that indicates -- through the respective colors red, green, and blue -- that the vape’s temperature is increasing. (The red indicates that the vaporizer has heated to 360F, the green to 380F, and the blue to 420F.)

The fact that the Titan 1’s temperature is not as easily customizable as the Titan 2 -- see below -- helps explain the fact that it also comes at a lower price than its counterpart. It also means that the Titan 1 is often the preferred vaporizer for those who are new to the vaporization sphere.

If the Titan 1 is preferred by beginners, the Titan 2 is often the favorite of the more seasoned vets. The Titan 2 features a digital temperature gauge that allows the user to specify the exact temperature at which they would like to have their dry herb flower heated. The vape allows the consumer to choose any temperature between 200F and 428F, a much wider variety than its Titan 1 counterpart.

The customizable temperature means that the consumer has more latitude in the vaporization process in terms of the speed at which the flower is vaporized, as well as ensuring that the consumer will be able to find the exact temperature that suits them.

Regardless of the consumer’s preferences, however, there is little doubt that in choosing the Titan 1 or the Titan 2 the vape enthusiast is in for an enriching, safe, and pleasant vaping experience. Happy vaping!
