A new TSA regulation passed in 2015 declares that portable vaporizer pens and other battery-operated electronic smoking devices are now banned from checked luggage. While this regulation means you can’t check your vape under the plane, the rule does permit devices to be packed in your carry-on bag.
It is suggested that, when you pack your vape in your carry-on, you put it in a place that is easily accessible. You will be expected to treat the vape, all batteries, and related chords the same as any other electronic device and remove it from your bag prior to going through security. For ease and speed, we suggest you compile all your vaping electronics and carry them safely in a travel case.
