Different Types of Spoon Pipes

Before You Smoke

The goal is to pack a full bowl without overfilling. If you pack too tightly, you will find it hard to hit. Just fill it up to the top, lightly pack down, and fill it up a little more if necessary.

You will usually just fill it up and press down once you are ready to smoke. This should be more than enough for your smoke session. The good news is that spoon pipes are known for having large, accommodating bowls. Cover the carb hole, light up your bowl, and take in a hit. No need to go too hard, just draw in your breath. Before you take your hit, take off the flame and release the carb hole. This will clear out the chamber.

After Your Session

Once you have taken your hit, exhale and enjoy the ride. After your smoke session you will be able to empty out the ashes from the bowl. Simply wipe it down if you find you have excess debris left in the bowl. At this point all you really need to do is safely store your piece until you are ready to use it again.

If you are using a glass piece, you will have to wait before putting it back in your pocket. Silicone spoon pipes are more convenient and can be immediately stored. No matter what type of spoon you pipe you use, they will all function the same. They are designed to be simple and effective.
