      What is a Sherlock Pipe

To be exact, it is the pipe famously smoked by Sherlock Holmes - but now there is a whole sherlock style category of pipes that differ not only in material, but also in the exact shape, size, and more. The sherlock style in this listing is not as exaggerated as the original, however this is one of the more popular choices if you are in the market for glass sherlock. This pipe has a thick, quality glass plus a very large bowl piece for generous packs of herb.

How to Clean Sherlock Glass Pipes

Step 1: If you are dealing with the original true sherlock, cleaning can sometimes be a tad annoying, only because of the shape and curves of the pipe. Fortunately the Sherlock in this listing is a modified, better version. But regardless of the version, you will need to soak the pipe in a cleaning solution for at least 5-10 minutes. Use a glass pipe cleaner, 420 solution or even rubbing alcohol. Step 2: As the pipe is soaking and the cleaners work to remove the resin build up, you can help speed up the process. Use a dab tool or something else to scrape and loosen the resin build up from the sides of the walls. You can also shake the pipe within the solution to help push out resin debris. Step 3: Repeat step 2 if necessary, otherwise, once satisfied, remove the sherlock glass from the cleaner and run under warm to hot water. Use the power of the running water through the mouthpiece and other holes to help push out any remaining resin build up. Continue until satisfied and make sure to rinse the rest of the unit under water to clear off any cleaners.
